Your AI agents as a folder: what is inside, how to start
thelooma hands over its agents as one folder you open with Claude Code, Codex or Cursor. What is inside, how it connects to your dashboard, and the first ten minutes.
Most AI tools live in a chat window. You type, it answers, and the next day it has forgotten your company. That is fine for a question. It is useless for work that has rules, a brand and a history.
thelooma hands over its agents differently: as one folder on your computer. You open the folder with an assistant you may already use, Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, and every agent is at hand. The folder holds the rules they follow, what they know about your brand, one skill per job, and the engines that make ad creatives and videos on your machine. This guide is what is inside, how it connects to the rest of thelooma, and how the first ten minutes go.
Why a folder and not a chat
A folder can carry things a chat cannot.
- Rules that always apply. Nothing gets published, sent or paid for without your yes. Numbers are never invented. Your brand’s voice is written down, not remembered from last time.
- Your brand, on file. Who you are, what you sell, who you sell to, your colours, your tone. The agents read it before they write a word.
- One skill per job. A skill is a short, plain-language playbook: how to plan a month of posts, how to build an ad campaign, how to caption a clip. The assistant reads the one it needs and does the work the same way every time.
- Engines. Ad creatives in three formats, motion cuts, short videos with captions and a voice, landing pages. They run on your computer, free of charge, as often as you like.
Because it is a folder, it is also yours to read. Every rule and every skill is a text file you can open.
What is inside
In plain words:
- The instructions. One file the assistant reads first: who it works for, which door to use for each task, what it must never do.
- Your brand. A page about your company, generated from your company profile, with the gaps marked so the agents ask instead of guessing.
- The skills. Finding customers, posts, ads, video, the website, customer emails. Each one says which platform agent does the work and what stays on your machine.
- The engines. The creative engine and the video engine, installed only if you want them, about one gigabyte.
- The connection. When you have the thelooma platform, the folder carries a key that opens only your workspace. Treat the folder like a password. You can revoke the key any time from your dashboard.
How the folder fits the platform
Every paid tier includes the full thelooma platform, all five agents and unlimited work. The folder is the local side of that setup. You download it from your dashboard, it is already connected, and it is where creative, video and technical work can happen on your computer before the result returns to the platform.
The dashboard holds the shared company records, approvals and connected account work. The folder gives Claude Code, Codex or Cursor the instructions, brand material and local engines needed for work on your machine. The pricing page explains the Solo founder and Teams and companies tiers.
The first ten minutes
The same five steps apply to every client. We do them with you during setup.
- Get the folder. As a zip. On Windows, right-click it first, Properties, tick Unblock, then extract. Windows blocks scripts inside downloaded zips otherwise, and the folder has a few.
- Install an assistant. Claude Code, Codex or Cursor. One line in the terminal, printed inside the folder. If you already have one, skip.
- Open the folder and say hello. In the folder, start the assistant, say yes to trusting the folder and yes to using its servers, and type the start command the folder names. The assistant introduces itself, checks its connection and asks you three questions: what to work on first, whether you run ads, whether you make videos.
- Give it the first job. “Draft next week’s posts”, “make three ad variants for the autumn offer”, “turn this clip into a captioned reel”. It says what it is about to do, does it, and tells you where the result is.
- Optional: the engines. Only if you want bespoke ad creative or video. One setup line, a few minutes, and the assistant can run it for you.
From then on, every session starts the same way: the assistant reads the folder, checks the connection, and waits for a job.
What stays on your computer
The creative engine, the video engine and every file they make. Your keys, in one file the assistant is not allowed to read. With the platform, the leads, posts, campaigns and reports live in your dashboard, where everyone in your team sees them, and the folder never keeps a second copy.
Nothing leaves the folder except to the services you configured and to the platforms themselves. The browser is used through the extension of your assistant, with your own logins, one tab at a time, and the assistant stops at every login page and security check.
What to do this week
- Write down the three jobs you would hand to an agent first. That is what the first session starts with.
- Check whether you already use Claude Code, Codex or Cursor. If not, pick one; the folder works the same in all three, and only Claude Code can use your Chrome browser.
- Decide whether you want the engines on your machine (creative and video) or only the platform’s work. Both are fine; you can add the engines later.
- Look at your company profile as you would want an agent to read it: what you sell, to whom, in what voice. Missing lines become questions the agent asks.
- Read the social agent, ads agent, video agent and dev agent pages, and note which one matters most to you.
If you want to see the folder open on a real screen before you decide, book the free 30-minute teardown. You leave with a written one-page plan: how the agents would work for you, which package fits, and what it costs.
Questions people ask
Do I need to be technical to use the folder?
No. You open it with an assistant you may already use, say yes to two questions, and type one command. The assistant explains itself from there. The only typing is copying one line into a terminal, and we do the first session with you.
Does it work on Windows?
Yes. The folder is the same on Mac and Windows; only the setup line differs, and the folder tells you which one to run. Everything runs locally except what the thelooma platform does for you online.
Is the folder the thelooma platform?
No. The folder is the local workspace for creative and technical work. It connects to your thelooma dashboard, where the shared records, approvals and connected account work live. Both pricing tiers include the full platform.
